Born out of a passion for needlework, both historical & contemporary with much inspiration having been drawn from these sources British designer, Abigail Bury, has created this wonderful range of richly coloured picture/panel tapestry needlepoint kits.
Hare & Bullfinch both take their inspiration from the wonderful needlwork of Mary, Queen of Scots stitched in the years of her captivity. Many plants & animals depicted in her work were never seen by Mary herself, but taken from books of the time. Her work has also inspired the central panel shape & scrolling.
Rich in both colour & texture this super design lends itself perfectly for finishing as a framed picture, cushion panel or perhaps a bag inset!
